Pickleball

Are you looking for a fun and exciting way to stay fit and healthy? Do you love playing tennis but want to try something new and different?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should definitely check out Pickleball, a new offering from Research Tennis Club!

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is played on a court similar to a tennis court, but smaller, with a net that is lower than a tennis net. The game is easy to learn and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels. You can play singles or doubles using a special paddle and a plastic ball with holes.

Pickleball is not only fun, but also good for your health. It can improve your cardiovascular fitness, agility, balance, coordination, and reflexes. It can also help you burn calories, reduce stress, and make new friends. Pickleball is a great way to spice up your routine and challenge yourself in a friendly and supportive environment.

Research Tennis Club is proud to offer Pickleball as one of its many activities for members and guests. We host regular sessions currently available Monday mornings at 9.30am and Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm. Bookings are limited for Wednesday night sessions and are essential. Sessions are planned around availability of players and courts with the opportunity for members to play anytime. Paddles are available, but we encourage you to bring your own. Experienced players can teach you the basics or help you improve your game. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you will find Pickleball at Research Tennis Club to be a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
