Smart Lock for Court 6

As a trial a smart lock has been put on Court 6. This will allow the public and any member without a key to use Court 6.

Everyone will need to go through the booking system to use the court.

How It Works

Go to the club’s Club Spark website at https://play.tennis.com.au/researchtennisclub and click on “Book a Court”. Log in with your email address and password. If you aren’t registered, you will need to do so.

Select a free time slot and continue with the booking procedure, which is self-explanatory.
A code is sent to you via SMS (if selected) and an email. Walk up to court 6 and enter the code into the lock and then press the unlock icon. Unlock the gate and play. When finished bag the court and lock the gate.

Feedback

As it's a trial any feedback is welcome. Please contact Glenn Eaton at membership@researchtennis.com.au.

Research Battlers WhatsApp Group

There is a WhatsApp Group called “Research Tennis Battlers”. This group was created by a member of a couple of our lower graded competition teams to get people practising tennis more often.

It’s aimed at adults but bring your kids along if you wish. More proficient players are welcome but just remember who you are playing against and give everyone a go. If you want to join in just sign up and wait for the invites. If you have a court key, you can just create an invite of your own.
