President's Report 2019
|
|
|
Another year has passed and financially the club is in a good position to proceed with our projects.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Upgrade of Courts 1 and 2
|
Work has begun on the upgrade of courts 1 and 2. There was a well attended working bee on the 10th of November to lay out the steel reinforcement mesh for the underlying concrete base.
|
|
They are expected to be completed before the autumn competition season start.
|
|
|

Lifetime Memberships
|
|
The club is pleased to announce the awarding of Lifetime Memberships to Jo Marshall, Peter Sardi and Esko Kankaanpaa.
|
|

|
Without the combined contribution from Peter and Esko, we would not have the facilities we have today.
|
Not only have these 2 members been instrumental with rebuilding the courts but also with the shaded area in front of court 2 and the concreted area behind court 1.
|
|
Peter has also been the Vice President for many years and is always willing to help out when needed.
|
|

Jo Marshall
|
Jo has had a long association with the club making the following contributions:
|
- Family/singles club member with her husband John since 2000.
- Joined the Junior committee.
- Monday Night Coordinator.
- Has been and still is involved in organising many functions for junior and senior members including fun days, Christmas parties over this period.
- Raising money for the club for the last 11 years by selling the Entertainment books each year and this is ongoing. Raised so far $3649.00 .
