The committee would like to congratulate all winners and thank all who volunteered to make the event the success it was. And thanks to the spectators who gave the day a wonderful, encouraging atmosphere.

BBQ and Kitchen Cleaning

Lately, the clubrooms and BBQ have been left in a mess after use. It is not up to the committee to clean these assets. If you use it, you clean it!
  1. If the clubrooms are used, the benches and tables and if necessary the floor are to be cleaned.
  2. Whatever has been used in the kitchen is to be cleaned and put back in the cupboards.
  3. The barbecue can only be used with the barbecue mat which is to be washed with hot soapy water, dried and placed back on the barbecue. The barbecue is to be left clean. If the mat has been lost, use the BBQ without it, but clean the BBQ after use with the scrub pad provided. The surface is easy to clean with hot water and detergent.

Female Players Needed for Monday Night Competition

We need more female players for the Monday Night Interclub Mixed Doubles Competition. It’s an entry level team that needs help, so there are no lofty expectations as to skill, so if you want a taste of what adult competition is like, just give it a go.

The season is well underway, but injury niggles and holidays are cutting into available players. The competition is three sets from 7:30pm on a home and away basis each week with a flexible roster as we all have other commitments. Please contact Glenn Eaton on 0427 057 260.

Hot Water Urn

OMNI have bought a new stainless steel hot water urn for OMNI meetings.

It has been placed on the bench for tennis club members to use as required. The urn is not to be removed from the club rooms.
